All of the other keys work with the fn key. Report Respond to Anon guy. Report Respond to ben. Excellent holding the button down for 15 seconds reset my touchpad and is working fine. For the Toshiba A, Fn F9 is what solves the problem.

Since when have you noticed this issue? I can move the cursor using the touchpad but the tap feature doesn’t work.

Very strange though because it wasn’t immediate and in an attempt to correct, Tosyiba restarted a couple of times and toshiba synaptics pointing device time that it took to lock up was different and so were the applications. Try to roll back OS to earlier time using system restore just to see if this will help. I was just about to smash it against the wall!!
